Project Description

The paste backfill at Jinniu Coal Mine has established a new method for backfill mining and recovering residual coal pillars.The paste backfill process uses aeolian sand,loess,fly ash,and cement as raw materials,significantly improving resource recovery rates.

Project Outcome

The resource recovery rate increased from 40%to 75%after the project was implemented,and the remaining recoverable reserves of Jinniu Coal Mine is about 12.27 million tons,which can create economic benefits of about RMB 774 million.It extends the life of the mine and improves the ecological environment of the mining area.
