New Materials Center Introduction

Established in January 2021,the New Materials Center is a key part of FENY Co.,Ltd.'s full industrial chain layout,focusing on developing environmentally and friendly cementitious materials for backfill mining.The center aims to address issues such as high backfill costs and low body strength through innovation.It has successfully developed various eco-friendly cementitious materials for backfill mining and can customize solutions based on customer needs and available solid waste resources.This approach effectively addresses challenges such as early low strength of tailings,large amounts of cementitious materials for coal mine backfill,and high costs.The center is equipped with advanced research laboratories for paste backfill,using professional experimental equipment and scientific methods to conduct extensive research in the field.Research activities include physical and chemical property analysis,flocculation sedimentation tests,mix ratio tests,ring pipe tests,and on-site semi-industrial tests,providing solid support for the design,construction,and operation of paste filling systems.

Soil Stabilization Admixture

Product Introduction:

The Soil Stabilization Admixture is an innovative Cementation material designed to solidify tailings, clay, silt, dust, and sludge containing fine and ultra fine particles. Classified as a highly efficient, environmentally friendly green material, it is made from various natural and synthetic inorganic mineral raw materials, processed through physical and chemical activation. Its chemical composition is similar to soil, appearing as a grayish-white, non-toxic, odorless inorganic non-metallic powder with good environmental friendliness. In a moisture-proof environment below 75°C, it has a shelf life of up to 12 months. This admixture embodies the development concept of efficiently resourceizing industrial solid waste, achieving an "treating waste with waste" environmental goal through high-efficiency physical and chemical activation of synthetic inorganic mineral raw materials.







Slag-Based Cementitious Material

Product Introduction:

This slag-based new material uses granulated blast furnace slag as the main raw material, supplemented with gypsum and lime or cement clinker as activators. It aims to overcome issues such as insufficient cement strength, high cement usage, and excessive hydration heat. This material is particularly suited for environments using full tailings or ultra-fine full tailings as backfill aggregate. During hydration, gypsum acts as a sulfate activator, while clinker or lime serves as an alkaline activator to promote slag hydration. This process primarily generates hydrated calcium sulfoaluminate (i.e., ettringite) and low-alkaline hydrated calcium silicate (C-S-H) gels, effectively enhancing the material's performance.







Coal-Based Cementitious Material

Product Introduction:

This coal-based solid waste new material is an innovative material developed for regions rich in coal resources in northern China, addressing the challenges of solid waste treatment and resource utilization during coal development and utilization. This material is produced by processing solid waste from power plants, coal chemical plants, and smelting plants with a small amount of additives. Crushed coal gangue is used as filling aggregate for mine filling, achieving not only reasonable disposal and resource utilization of coal-based solid waste but also addressing the top-sealing rate issue in mine filling, reaching a higher top-sealing rate. This approach promotes environmental protection and enhances resource utilization efficiency.





Metal Smelting Slag-Based Cementitious Material

Product Introduction:

This material effectively utilizes waste slag from metal smelting plants, undergoing physical activation and chemical stimulation to produce cementitious properties for low-strength mine filling. It achieves comprehensive resource utilization of solid waste and reduces filling costs in mining.

Materials:

• High strength: Proven to have excellent binding capability for fine tailings and crushed gangue, resulting in high filling strength.

• Good flowability: The new material's slurry flowability is improved, benefiting construction efficiency.

• Strong anti-segregation performance: Effectively avoids common issues such as water separation and segregation, ensuring uniformity and quality of the filling body.

• Low hydration heat: With minimal or no clinker usage, the new material has low hydration heat, reducing volumetric expansion and cracking during underground filling.

• Cost-effective: With lower usage while maintaining the same filling strength, the new material effectively reduces filling costs and increases the utilization rate of tailings and coal gangue, minimizing environmental impact.
